This policy explains what information Haanji (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our website and platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. We process the minimum data needed to run the service.
Information we collect
- Account details you give us: name, email, business name and phone number.
- Business knowledge you add: profile, hours, FAQs, documents and website content.
- WhatsApp messages exchanged between your customers and your business number, so the assistant can reply.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and usage logs, for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To generate replies on your behalf using only the knowledge you provide.
- To operate, secure and improve the service, and to support you.
- To send service notices. Marketing email is opt-in and you can unsubscribe anytime.
We never sell personal data, and we do not use your customers' conversations to train public AI models.
Sharing
We share data only with processors who help us run the service (such as cloud hosting, Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform and AI model providers) under contracts that require confidentiality and security, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep data for as long as your account is active. You can delete conversations, knowledge or your whole account at any time. See our data deletion page.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per business, and access is limited to authorised staff. Read more on our security page.
